Milky-Cha opened its doors in May 2021 in the lovely downtown Astoria.
Our Story
Fueled by a craving for boba, this shop opened in 2021. We offer a variety of bubble tea drinks with different toppings. We also carry a selection of merchandise, sourced locally and from around the world.
^ We use real fruits in our drinks, including fresh taro.
^ We don’t use powders.
^ We use our house made brown sugar as our main sweetener.
^ Our bubble waffles are made from scratch.

Love all the drinks I’ve purchased here (and there have been plenty). I’ve found a few fun things to buy from their retail selection as well.
I love coming here whenever the craving for good boba hits me! I try to get something different every time, but my favorite lately is a jasmine tea with salty cloud. I thought cheese foam was just a California thing! I love living so close to this place…well, actually, it’s kind of dangerous how good it is😆
Real taro was different but delicious! Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious boba and a great shop! There’s an area in the back with some Japanese/Asian trinkets, and many selections of bubble tea. The seating area is eclectic and so cute! Do they have a punch card? 🧋❤️
We got the berry cloud and milk taro, they are both delicious. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. They also sell cute bubble tea stuffed animals and many other goodies.
Great customer service. We got the milky taro and we loved it. The boba so chewy even after 2 hours later. The brown sugar boba is yummy as well. We tried the bubble waffle with strawberry ice cream and banana, the waffle so crunchy. The one thing is its not taste chocolate at all. But, it will not stop us to come back. We will be back.😊😊
